How Much Does It Cost?
Membership fees are $99.50 for the initial dues for a new member and then $40 per month thereafter. They are automatically deducted from your bank account each month. This provides you with all the benefits of the FOP including the Legal Defense Fund.
Does this Replace My Current Union Membership?
The newly established lodge is not a competitor or alternative to your own local collective bargaining, union support, representation, and membership. The FOP is an added benefit to our already strong unions. Some local unions are worried about losing all their coffers if faced with another major lawsuit against its membership. Membership in the FOP will alleviate that concern.
What Other Benefits Do I Get?
In addition to the Legal Defense Fund, other benefits include a wide variety of resources. There are too many benefits to list here. Some of them can be found here. Your also may visit the National FOP for more information.
